Disky SIII
Re: Disky SIII

SWB a LWB disky mají naprosto stejné.

Pro ty, kteří mluví anglicky krátké pojednání o pneu a gumách na Series, napsal Mark Rumsey, Technical Officer and Master of the Oils ze Series 2 Clubu. Neznám nikoho, kdo by věděl o LR víc než on, je to chodící encyklopedie...
"The ideal tyre size for a Series Land Rover is 7.50x16. The smaller 6.00x16 (and 205R16) tends to leave you short on clearance under the diffs. If 7.50s are not available, the 235/85R16 is the next best thing. Its a bit wider and about the same diameter and performs about as well as a 7.50. Going any wider than 235 is a waste of time, and often counter productive. Series trucks work best when the tyre cuts though the mud slurry on surface and finds the firmer ground underneath. This leaves the fairly narrow 7.50 in an ideal position with the 235 not far behind. With tyres much wider than 235, however, the low weight of the Series leaves it floating on the slurry unable to get down to the solid ground underneath, and so it sits there spinning wheels and going nowhere. Wioth your extra lift you could consider 9.00x16 tyres if you want something big, but they are the absolute limit for the lighter vehicles like the SWB being a tiny bit wider than a 235. The best wheel rims will be standard LWB rims (5.56" wide) if you go with 7.50x16, or 130 rims (6.5" wide) for the 235 or 9.00. Alternativley you could get a set of Wolf rims for any of these tyres, but bear in mind you will need to replace the wheel studs with longer ones to cope with the thicker wheels. Personally I hate 8 spoke and modular wheels on Series Land Rovers, but if you prefer the look of them that's your choice and these would do the job well. All the wheel/tyre combinations will fit under the standard wings with the possible exception of 8 spokes if they have a massive offset, and so you won't need spats (which really don't look right on a Series Land Rover). One thing all this on tyres should tell you is don't believe what the magazines claim, and above all don't believe that what works on a coiler is any use at all on a Series. They are very different machines and they also need driving in very different ways off road."

Rover píše:Going any wider than 235 is a waste of time, and often counter productive.
Podle všeho mám asi ty obyčejné ráfky (na Tvém obrázku zelené), půjdu do těch podložek.
